I lament the injustice of the scene described by “the listing.” Illegally occupied land can never be justified.
I felt awful the whole time I stayed there, knowing I was in a home obtained illegally. I felt horrible about the families who had lived on this land who had been displaced. I realized at last that by staying there I had added to their misery.
Comon do your homework or do u…..want to be an unethical company?
This is stolen land, and for the Israeli Government to allow this is obscene
It is beyond disgust that Airbnb knowingly allows homes either confiscated or built on stolen lands to be advertised on their website for a profit. That tells me Airbnb have no conscience, have nor morals & no ethics. That tells me Airbnb values profit before people, profit before values, profit before community. Shame on you Airbnb. You will never ever get a booking from me, my family or my friends!
I am overwhelmed with the feeling of disgust & Gaul of this company who feel it is okay to rent out the home of someone else without their permission, to just bulldoze their way into people’s lives and make money from it. I feel sick, no holiday here just a rotten taste in my mouth. The evil has risen from the depths of hell & taken up residence in occupied Palestine, God Bless us all.
Stop listing properties in Israel’s illegally occupied West Bank, immediately.
ridiculous
Just don’t do it, Airbnb – it is wrong and can’t be justified on any grounds.
GREAT idea!
I would add something about “access by way of Jews-only highways and public transportation, totally segregated, so rest easy.”
AND add to “Cost to Palestinians:” ” lost livelihood,” “restricted and costly access to Israeli-managed water supply,” “elimination of access to their own agricultural land by Jews-only highways and roads,” “access to IDF home attacks, confiscation, incarceration without cause and general destruction of agriculture and infrastructure 24/7″ ETC.
or maybe you could put all the last under ENTERTAINMENT AVAILABLE
AND under “House Rules” ADD “. . . protection from settlers.”
I have seen all this first-hand, in Nov. 2011, and I’ll bet it has only gotten worse for Palestinians.
