  • I am thinking about using Airbnb but I am very unhappy to hear that it is profiting off of the rubble of demolished Palestinian homes. This violates international law and basic human rights! I would never rent a home built on land that was illegally stolen from Palestinians. How can Airbnb justify offering a listing that is literally off-limits to its Palestinian customers? A pioneer in the “sharing economy” should not be party to racial segregation.

  • Using an illegal settlement for profit is adding insult to injury and worsening the, already bad, conflict in the area!

  • Airbnb would never advertise a listing that said “whites only” or “no Jews” or “no gays”. And you would never let me rent out someone else’s house without their explicit advance approval. This is no different! Allowing illegal settlements to advertise rentals on your site means your company supports of a policy of apartheid. Your company is better than that.

  • Please don’t encourage vacation behaviour at the expense of someone’s suffering. Be part of the solution rather than a company that profits from someone’s” expansion at any cost”policy. Don’t you have enough money ? Do you have to stoop to this? Thanks for listening. Dina

  • “I just read about airbnb, I was disappointed to hear that it is profiting off of the rubble of demolished Palestinian homes. Please stop listing properties in Israel’s occupied West Bank.”

  • I think any company that is making money by breaking international law is morally corrupt.

I wonder if all the people who host with/for you are aware of this fact.

  • please stop any dealings with the illegal settlements in the occupied territories of Palestine

  • Appalling – I don’t want my vacation to be at the expense of those whose homes and farms have destroyed, the inhabitants displaced.

  • Imperialism is imperialism, and capitalizing upon it is a crime against whatever hope we may have for a future.

  • I am very disturbed to find that airbnb is profiting from the land where demolished Palestinian homes used to be. Please stop listing properties in Israel’s occupied West Bank.
This violates international law and basic human rights. I and I am sure many others would never rent a home built on land that was illegally stolen from Palestinians.

  • About the host, Airbnb

Last year alone Airbnb made almost $1 billion in revenue, and Airbnb is worth a whopping $24 billion. Yet, Airbnb continues to make a profit from homes located in illegal housing settlements in occupied territory.
