This is horrendous. Do not profit from stolen land.
stop stealing the land of other people!
I have recently been introduced to Airbnb and having really found what you offer to be excellent. However, I am now aware that you are advertising accommodation built illegally under international law, on land belonging to and therefore stolen from another nation. Having spent most of the last two years volunteering in Palestine / Israel, I have seen for myself the devastating effects of these illegal settlements and the idea that an organisation like yourself can encourage people to go and stay in them at special rates, when the people from whom the Israelis have stolen the land and often homeless, seems totally unethical and wrong. I would plead with you to stop advertising these properties in order that those of us with principles and with ethical standards (who I presume are the kind of people you want to encourage to use your properties), will again be able to use the legal properties that you offer.
Profiting off occupation is the best way to lose my business
It’s absolutely criminal to bulldoze people off land that was theirs for generations to then rent it out for vacationers. I’ll never use airbnb for this reason. You suck!
I’ll never use Airbnb to find a place to stay.
Tried to get my family comfortable but just couldn’t sleep well knowing this land had been stolen from another family. Left with a nagging, guilty feeling of being part of supporting something quite disturbingly wrong. Of course this issue is complicated but there is something quit obviously indefensible about violating international law. I won’t be staying here again.
