I typically use Airbnb several times a year but I may not in the future since finding out about these illegal rentals in Palestine. I strongly feel Airbnb should not be involved in the illegal treatment of the Palestinian people.
I have long been horrified at the growth of illegal settlements on Palestinian land. This Airbnb is a perfect example of getting visitors to be participants in the oppression of the Palestinians.
This is absolutely ridiculous! If this is illegal by international law, how is it continuing? This must not be allowed to go on. No one should be allowed to profit from oppression. We, as a people, are still so far from the beings we can be. All the violence and evil acts of our history have taught us nothing – we continue in the same despicable way. When will we learn?
stop thieves
I just rented my first AirBnB with a friend in Miami. While we were well pleased, I can assure you that we will not rent another until this issue is resolved. Do not provide rentals on illegal Jewish settlements…..
shame
End the occupation
We are sickened by airbags support for Israel. You must get out and now would be a good time.
We in Canada have known about the criminal persecution of the Palestinian people by the state of Israel for quite some time. Personally, I would not be a client of any organization that bulldozes the homes and orchards of the Palestinian people. We consider that Stephen Harper was wrong to support Israel. Instead the International Court in the Hague should be prosecuting Israel for their genocidal policies.
