Legality:

  • My understanding of airbnb was to provide a home for a night a day a week to people travelling – and to provide a community in this extended sense. If it is now providing listings where people have lost their homes and their history – where is the justice and morality?

  • You’re just as guilty for the situation of the Palestinians.

  • No one should give any support – direct or indirect – to Israel’s illegal and brutal occupation of the West Bank.

  • A listing that regrettably will make us refuse to use the company

  • please respect each others borders it is time to live in peace do this NOW for your children and grand children

  • I regularly host on Airbnb these past five years and I am appalled at these hosts complete disregard for human life! Airbnb should discontinue offering this listing or get involved in rebuilding housing for Palestinian families. This is against all precepts of our sharing economy model. I am shocked!

  • I am Canadian $ there is a large movement to stop this bullshit of profiting off stealing Palestinian land. I certain won’t rent here and my support for Israel safety and future is done. The mountain of people against this Airbnb rentals on stolen land is exploding

  • About the host, Airbnb

Last year alone Airbnb made almost $1 billion in revenue, and Airbnb is worth a whopping $24 billion. Yet, Airbnb continues to make a profit from homes located in illegal housing settlements in occupied territory.
