Legality:

  • How can I recommend staying in a place where there is blood on the bed sheets?

  • I consider it immoral to profit from the unethical removal of Palestinians from their traditional lands. I’m NOT one of the Canadians who think that all Israeli actions are justified by the history of atrocities perpetrated against Jewish people.

  • You shouldn’t rent out what shouldn’t be yours!
The view on what could be a beautiful future is blocked by some horrible concrete wall.

  • A Berlin style wall in stolen Palestinian land.
This development is not only illegal but has a ‘Colonial’ and ‘Cold War’ feel to it. The Settlement with it’s barbed wire and armed guards indeed has an Apartheid security in an occupied land. I do hope in the future that both communities come together in friendship and a common cause that will see an end to this injustice.

  • I am sure it wouldn’t dent their business model if Airbnb went ethical and withdrew from making these properties available.

  • I wouldn’t pay rent to stay in a house in Canada that was stolen out from under its owners. The walls would haunt me. We don’t reward crimes here, why do it in Palestine?

  • How disgusting, I would never ever accept the offer for accommodation on stolen land, and I really hope that nobody will accept such an offer

  • If Airbnb ever want my business then I suggest that they stop advertising stollen West Bank property now: others may tell you that these properties are legitimate let’s but you know that that’s not true.

  • C’mon AirBnB – it’s time to cease and desist from your collusion with this gross violation of human rights!

  • About the host, Airbnb

Last year alone Airbnb made almost $1 billion in revenue, and Airbnb is worth a whopping $24 billion. Yet, Airbnb continues to make a profit from homes located in illegal housing settlements in occupied territory.
