  • I’ve been an airbnb customer for a few years and usually love the places I have stayed. This is the first time I won’t consider a listing. Now, if staying in a place that practices the Israeli equivalent of modern day apartheid gets your juices flowing, then renting a place in the occupied territories is OK. It’s certainly not consistent with my values. I don’t support apartheid-like government practices, no matter the name they go by, and won’t do business with people who have illegally built in occupied territories. Furthermore, now that I know airbnb is allowing illegal settlement listings, I’ll be looking for other places to rent my ‘home away from home’ the next time I travel.

  • Air B&B needs to remove these listings that legitimize Israeli occupation of stolen land and deliver massive profits off the back of the Palestinian people.

  • This rental violates international laws and ethics. I think it’s despicable.

  • I am withdrawing from AirnBnb until it withdraws support for apartheid and extrajudicial killings in Palestine.

  • i am very sad that you would profit from someone else’s loss.
This house is not yours to rent out – remove it from the listings before someone decides to retaliate.

  • Genocide.. See it here. It will change your life. Hopefully make you human again.

  • Have some social, political, moral, ethical, common, decent responsibility…and choose not to holiday on illegal land

  • I just wish everyone in the world could learn to stop acting like children and get along. I understand that Jewish people need a place to be safe after thousands of years of repression and anti-semitism. However, if I were a member of a historically persecuted group I would make damn sure that I was better than all those other jerks. Israel in many ways is no better than the oppressors of Jews throughout the ages.

  • Absolutely appalled by the lack of humanity shown by such a well known company. I urge Airbnb to immediately halt any further construction of illegal settlements and to return the land to whom it rightfully belongs- the Palestinians.

  • About the host, Airbnb

Last year alone Airbnb made almost $1 billion in revenue, and Airbnb is worth a whopping $24 billion. Yet, Airbnb continues to make a profit from homes located in illegal housing settlements in occupied territory.
