Legality:

  • This is a crime against humanity. The whole world will unite to give the land to their owners, the Palestinians. Force the israeli invaders to go back to where they came from and acuse and jail those who steal and sell the Palestinian country. Boycot Israel!

  • Clean towels, nice pool. Shame about the barbed wire, the wall, repeated gunfire and stolen lives of the Palestinian people. Will not be recommending Airbnb to anyone from an ashamed previous and regular user of Airbnb.

  • My stay at this AirBnB house was fraught with distressing events. First, their was illegal activity going on within the rooms of the residence which I noticed immediately upon entering. For example, not just the home but the land it sits on turned out to be illegally squatting on Palestinian-owned land in this West Bank community. Secondly, the water in the shower was visibly red, sort of a blood-red really, as was the light coming from what seemed to be normal light bulbs, but what were they really? Also, each night I was awoken by a veritable cacophony of noise. It sounded like rubber bullets and live ammunition being fired in close quarters, punctuated by what I guess was the noise of cluster bombs landing rhythmically along the ground. Yet when I awoke and checked the house, and checked outside, there didn’t seem to be anything going on. Then, to top it all off, in the early morning hours I was awakened repeatedly by brilliant flashes of white-blue light, blinding! It reminded me of the white phosphorous bomb explosions I saw on a BBC program about illegal weaponry that violates all international treaties meant to protect the rights of all humans everywhere. All in all, this AirBnB stay was a nightmare – I can’t imagine how the residents of this town are able to live through this stuff :(

  • Only an emotionally stunted, death-eater would live in a house built on land stolen from Palestinians.

  • “Have been using airbnb for 2 years and this is the first listing that I am giving a 0/5. It violates international law and basic human rights! I would never rent a home built on land that was illegally stolen from Palestinians.”

  • Lovely red-tiled houses on rooftop villages. Our hosts were heavily armed American Hassidic Jews. At least they weren’t Israelis, who are rude know-it-alls that can’t drive to save their lives. The other locals spoke Arabic and got treated like shit.

  • Stealing is worse than terrorism!!!!!

  • I will not support criminals, I support Palestine.

  • It is disgraceful that anybody, but especially leading commercial groups, should propose to use illegal settlements and houses for commercial gain, with no compensation or assistance even for the poor original Arab population who have been forcibly removed from their own rightful land and property.

  • About the host, Airbnb

Last year alone Airbnb made almost $1 billion in revenue, and Airbnb is worth a whopping $24 billion. Yet, Airbnb continues to make a profit from homes located in illegal housing settlements in occupied territory.
