  • Disgusted. Have you no shame?

  • I have wanted to start using airbnb listings for travel, but am appalled to learn that this company lists rentals in illegal Jewish-only settlements in the West Bank. These settlements are built on land STOLEN from the Palestinian people and are deemed illegal by international law, the UN, and the US government. It would be like renting in an all-white community or country club in USA in the 50′s. I will not rent ANY listed property from airbnb as long as it lists ANY property in these settlements. Illegal is illegal, and immoral is immoral.

  • Appalling. I can hardly believe Airbnb would participate in an exercise clearly illegal by international standards. I think I speak for millions when I say the conflict must end; a two-state solution must be found, and the ongoing theft of Palestinian land must stop. What next: day tours of neighborhoods about to be bulldozed?

  • Geoffrey Pounder, Rocky Mountain House, AB, Canada says:

Looking for a place to stay with a great view?
From your rental in illegal West Bank settlements, you can have a front-row seat to daily oppression, gross injustice, destruction of hopes for a better life, and economic strangulation.
No rainbows after the rain, just an endless spiral of violence.
You can see hope die in the eyes of children. Watch peace wither on the vine, while bitterness blossoms. Water with somebody else’s tears the fields of fear on both sides of the wall.
With a good set of binoculars, you can see prospects for peace for Israelis and Palestiniansn ever shrinking on the horizon.
For decent folk, a good rental in illegal West Bank settlements is hard to find. You first have to lose your moral compass.

  • This is completely wrong! If Muslims were doing this to Jews in another country, the Israeli government would be loud in their condemnations.

  • I have just discovered Airbnb and was looking forward to using their site. No longer.

  • This sounds ideal! Just what I want – to have a nice holiday at the expense of the true owners of the land. I want to be involved in corruption, theft and human rights abuses. I want to exploit others and lie about it. I want to live my life as a racist person and turn the other cheek to the suffering of others. I don’t want to think about morality and doing the right thing. This is the attitude of people who take up Airbnb accommodation in these Israeli settlements. In truth I want nothing to do with it.

  • AirBnb will not get away lightly with the way they’re treating palestinians!

  • My family has stopped using airbnb since we learned you were listing rentals in the West Bank.

  • About the host, Airbnb

Last year alone Airbnb made almost $1 billion in revenue, and Airbnb is worth a whopping $24 billion. Yet, Airbnb continues to make a profit from homes located in illegal housing settlements in occupied territory.
