Legality:

  • I think Airbnb should not allow any properties to be listed that are in illegally occupied territories.

  • It is appalling that AirBnB would allow any listings in areas stolen from Palestinians, where Palestinians have been forced from their homes and land. This is nothing but supporting the Israeli version of apartheid. If it doesn’t change its policy, people should boycott AirBnB.

  • I think it’s criminal to make peaceable and legitimate citizens homeless. At best it smacks of apartheid. You should learn to respect the rights of your neighbours- how can you ever find peace if you don’t?

  • Airbnb stop listing vacation rentals located in illegal West Bank settlements.!!

  • “Have been using airbnb for 2 years and this is the first listing that I am giving a 0/5. It violates international law and basic human rights! I would never rent a home built on land that was illegally stolen from Palestinians.”

  • I had the impression that airbnb was refreshingly different. It seems that I was sadly mistaken, and that principles count for less than money.

  • Shame on Airbnb. No words to be said for how wrong this is…

  • We demand that Airbnb stop listing vacation rentals located in illegal West Bank settlements.

  • as a airbnb customer i am disgusted at this and will not be booking again through airbnb until they act on this. These settlements are in violation of international law

  • this listing is situated on land that according to international law and the United Nations is illegally occupied by Israel. I would not stay in a settlement AirBnB site, ever.

  • About the host, Airbnb

Last year alone Airbnb made almost $1 billion in revenue, and Airbnb is worth a whopping $24 billion. Yet, Airbnb continues to make a profit from homes located in illegal housing settlements in occupied territory.
