Legality:

  • pretty disgusting – wouldn’t be acceptable in any other ‘contested’ areas.

  • I suppose I wouldn’t mind staying here if 100% of the proceeds of my rent went to building a school for Palestinian children, or a good medical centre for Palestinian families. Or training in how to set up a business capable of sustaining itself in Gaza, and that might help the residents of Gaza employ local people. Otherwise, get this listing off your books…

  • Obviously no moral compass, your listing violates international law and basic human rights.

  • This is not an appropriate listing for airbnb.

  • Air bnb is committing crimes against humanity.

  • Tell you what: I’ll come and force you out of YOUR house with violence, then offer it on Airbnb – would that be okay?

Offering, or staying at, such accommodation CANNOT be politically neutral: it’s a tragic endorsement of an illegal land-grab, and a further slap in the face to the innocent Palestinian families who’ve lost their land.

  • I am not in agreement with illegal Israeli “homes” on stolen Palestinian property, and the way Airbnb supports this. Give it back to it’s rightful Palestinian owners!!

  • Do not stay in these illegal settlements. Hideous that Airbnb is profiting from this misery. I will not be using Airbnb again.

  • Despicable. I’m voting with my consumer dollar and will tell everyone to stop using AirBnB as well until AirBnB prohibit all listings located in illegal settlements.

  • Next stop, Homs! Yeah, so many cheap places to see! Thank goodness for illegal acts and Western domination, otherwise how could we all afford to escape the pressure of our jobs in banking, retailing and distribution, etc.

  • About the host, Airbnb

Last year alone Airbnb made almost $1 billion in revenue, and Airbnb is worth a whopping $24 billion. Yet, Airbnb continues to make a profit from homes located in illegal housing settlements in occupied territory.
