  • I have been a regular user of AirBnB for many years. However now I know about this appalling and unethical behaviour I will no longer be doing so. I will also be advising all of my friends and family who have joined of this campaign so that they are aware of this dreadful situation.

  • I have my unit listed with AirBnb & have just found out about this disgusting situation. I am now going to the website to withdraw my listing. I do NOT want to be associated with such a company that put profits before people.

  • Absolutely disgraceful that AirBnb would profit off of the rubble of demolished Palestinian homes.

It is ridiculous to assume that AirBnb is not aware that they are complicit in renting homes built on land that was illegally stolen from Palestinians and that this violates international law and basic human rights.

I will never use AirBnb again unless this practice stops immediately.

    Shame AirBnb Shame !!!

  • I cannot rest, hearing the cries of the people whose homes were destroyed and lives were disrupted as this land could be stolen from them . I am an American Jewish descent and I am horrified at how Israel treats the people of Palestine.

  • This is criminal! No tourist will enjoy to stay at an illegal settlement….
    Shame on you!

  • I just used Airbnb for the first time last month and my experience was positive. However, now that I am aware that Airbnb is accepting listings for housing built on occupied land that was once the homeplace of Palestinian villages, I will avoid using the service until this policy changes. Airbnb can use its status and success to make a strong statement against the legitimacy of these occupied territories.

  • So it comes to this. A human that considers they have some divine right to trample and deprive other humans. I read the old testament. His ‘chosen’ are a bunch of reprebates that forget his laws quicker than the average population forgets its past. And they are doing it again and again and again and again. Arrogance and the venom of mystical pride runs strong with these self appointed holy people. Their sense of entitlment is far from deserving. Yet they are not immune to the law. The cruelty of their farsical self-importance and hypocrisy will greet them once again, it is only a matter of time. Looks like they never learn.

  • I could never feel comfortable in a holiday rental in Israel’s occupied West Bank. I am appalled that Airbnb would try to profit off homes built on land stolen from Palestinians. Please do not list properties in Israel’s illegally occupied West Bank.

  • These settlements built on Palestinian land are illegal because they are breaking international law. I will not use airbnb whilst they continue to support this apartheid and I will inform my friends and family so that they can do the same.

  • I would seriously reconsider using any organization that would willingly use illegally gained properties. This is not just a matter of conscience and morals, but of breaking international law. I would not want to be party to that.

  • About the host, Airbnb

Last year alone Airbnb made almost $1 billion in revenue, and Airbnb is worth a whopping $24 billion. Yet, Airbnb continues to make a profit from homes located in illegal housing settlements in occupied territory.
