  • Fantastic location, full of fascinating history. To stay in a place inhabited by some of the first humans who migrated out of Africa (most of us would be genetic descendants) then by conquerors form Canaanites to Hebrews to Macedonians to Romans etc down the ages gives one a more objective view of today’s disputes. The landlord seemed unable to appreciate this visitor’s perspective. It made the relationship difficult.

  • Airbnb, this is not a tricky decision! The UN Security Council, the UN General Assembly and the International Court of Justice all consider these settlements as ILLEGAL. Airbnb, get your policy in order…quick! Hundred of thousands of valued costumers demand it!

  • Please reconsider your decision to condone the operation of AirBnBs on illicit West Bank property. This land belongs to the Palestinian people and not to Israeli intruders.

  • Setting up places for people to stay at on occupied and stolen is absolutely unethical. Absolutely shameful. I will never support airbnb.

    How can you think about providing comfort to guests when you can’t provide justice for the Palestinians that lived there.

  • It is sad that a company that can help so many have a living, by making it possible for them to rent a room or their entire home, will also make profit from homes located in illegal housing settlements in occupied territory. It is despicable and I really hope that with a global outcry about this unethical conduct, Airbnb will stop this right away. I do not understand how the company has not been forced to stop already, if it violates international law.

  • We are using Airbnb this month in Denver. Had I known of this practice in the West Bank, we would never have used Airbnb. The rentals on land illegally stolen from the Palestinians is totally unacceptable. I will NEVER again use Airbnb again until this practiced is stopped.

  • Airbnb is a great concept and many is us world -wide have benefitted as hosts and guests.
    However businesses should act ethically and not profit from other people’s misery. Renting properties built on land stolen from their legitimate owners in Israel is not only illegal but also immoral.
    Therefore Airbnb , I urge you to think again and withdraw your activities in the occupied territories in Israel in order to help make this a more just and peaceful world.
